The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office announced on May 13 that it is seeking individuals who may have been victims of solicitation by Elizabeth Serie. Authorities are asking anyone affected to contact Detective Tyla Godeaux, either directly or by leaving their name and contact information for follow-up.

This request aims to assist ongoing investigations related to criminal activity in the area. The sheriff’s office emphasizes the importance of community involvement in solving crimes and encourages those with relevant information to come forward.

“Thank you for all the assistance,” the statement said. Sheriff Charles R. Guillory and the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office also encourage anyone with knowledge about criminal activity to reach out to the Criminal Investigations Division at 337-363-2161 or submit a tip through their website at www.evangelineparishsheriff.org.

The office assures that any person reporting information will remain anonymous. It also reminds the public that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Looking ahead, officials hope that additional tips from residents will help move investigations forward and ensure community safety.
