On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Port Barre High School standout Malani Francis’ current college team, the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions, lost 4-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Tarleton State Texans.

The game took place at Tarleton Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Texans this season.

The Golden Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at Petesy Langston Softball Field against Ouachita Baptist Tigers.
