Marquez Bellard was arrested on April 20 and faces several charges, including reckless operation of an off-road vehicle, aggravated flight from an officer, and resisting an officer. The arrest took place in Ville Platte, Louisiana.
The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that Bellard is charged under Louisiana Revised Statutes for the listed offenses. Authorities remind the public that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Sheriff Charles R. Guillory encouraged community members to share any information related to criminal activity with the Criminal Investigations Division by calling 337-363-2161 or submitting a tip through the agency’s website at www.evangelineparishsheriff.org. “Any person(s) reporting information will remain anonymous,” Guillory said.
