On Sunday, April 13, former Westminster Christian Academy standout Samantha Turnage’s current college team, the Francis Marion Patriots, won 5-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Converse Valkyries.
The game took place at Tyger River Park. This was their second matchup against the Valkyries this season.
The Patriots’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 4 p.m. at Purnell Swett High School against UNC Pembroke Braves.
