There was a single gas station in cities across Evangeline Parish selling diesel at the lowest price of $3.29 per gallon in the week ending Feb. 15, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of diesel in cities within Evangeline Parish was $3.47 per gallon.
Of the 25 reported gas stations in cities within Evangeline Parish, six offer diesel.
The $3.35 average reported price of diesel in Louisiana was unchanged from the previous week.
Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.

Experts predict gasoline prices could drop below $3 this year before rebounding closer to $4 by year’s end. GasBuddy forecasted a national average of $3.38 per gallon, down from $3.51.
