There was a single gas station in cities across St. Landry Parish selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.59 per gallon in the week ending Sept. 7, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of regular gas in cities within St. Landry Parish was $2.77 per gallon.
Of the 67 reported gas stations in cities within St. Landry Parish, seven offer regular gas.
The average reported price of regular gas in Louisiana was $2.83, compared to $2.88 the week before.
Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.
