Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Louisiana Academy of Beauty

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Louisiana Academy of Beauty, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Louisiana students paid $12,575 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 65 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 15 students received grants or scholarships totaling $79,258 and 11 students took out student loans totaling more than $63,500.

Including all undergraduates (36), 29 students used grants or scholarships totaling $169,247, and 18 students took out $104,250 in federal student loans.
